Purpose

Castile's ESG Policy states that the company recognises its responsibilities are long term in nature. Long-term prosperity depends on the environment, social cohesion and good governance within the company's operations.

The Board is responsible for ensuring the appropriateness of the ESG framework. The Managing Director is responsible for ensuring operational and investment decisions meet the requirements of the policy to the extent reasonably able.

Framework

Three dimensions.

Environmental

Greenhouse gas emissions, climate change, resource use, waste management, water scarcity and biodiversity.

Social

Health and safety, labour and human rights, supply-chain conduct and community relations.

Governance

Board composition, executive accountability, audit, controls and shareholder alignment.
